rant a la reportage and life in general
well it's the end of reportage, and i think we're all glad it's over too... one of the longest, dragging projects i've ever had to work on!
big party planned for tonight so we can all chill and relax in the knowledge that we'll all the shot down on monday - results - awoohoooo, can't wait...
had my final advertising lesson today aswell, that wasn't too good. but talking to david - the tutor about advertising in general. he seems to think i have the ability to work as a copywriter in an advertising team and is (it appears) attempting to poach me and another student from vis comm onto the advertising course... i did consider it, but i think i like some of the aspects of vis comm too much, although at the moment i'm finding it too controlling - "you will create a poster, it will be A4 and will contain only text. it will state this, this and this, with that, these and those" .... oh but you should put your name on it not mine... HMMMMMM plagarism in the slightest. yes. *arghh*
but actually i just can't wait til february when i can esacape down to vernon street to do print making, but then again i guess it'll be just like the advertising elective - something going on in the background rather than something to focus on at the time. which sucks MAJORLY as i really want to focus on it - at least for a while...
there's too much going on, not enough time or inclination to do any of it.
and i don't want to go home. but i don't want to stay here. oh the joys of indecisiveness.
rant over.
for now cause i'm going to go home, get a shower and prepare for excessive drunkeness tonight. all good. must get in the party mood. must have a good night. been looking forward to this for too long to not have a good night goddamnit!
ok rant over. really.
